Anti-discrimnatory practices can also be promoted by being a good role model. Children and young people will look up to and see the adults that work with them as role models. Every adult that works with children and young people, needs to be aware that the actions and behaviours they portray and the things they say are noticed by the children. Children tend to copy and imitate people they look up to, so when working with children, adults need to act professionally and portray an image that is non-judgmental. Adults need to show respect to all individuals regardless of their culture, religion, ethnicity or disability. Irrespective of their own attitudes and values, adults need to show children right from wrong to promote anti-discrimnatory
