Bullying is a topic many believe they understand, and good many have had experienced it. But if you don’t understand the term: “Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Bullying includes actions such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose.” These acts of humiliation to children in our community of minor’s that continues to spread must be stopped. This can be stopped or at least limited by better funds, better security, and improved monitoring on the students.
If Anti-Bullying programs could raise their fundings, much of school fights would be stopped and a majority of the stealing, shoving, hitting, and destroying personal belongings would be halted. Studies show school bullying can cause anxiety, depression, and possibly, even more problems. It can also result in a student losing interest in school and would beginning to fail classes. Bullying shoves them into a hole of loneliness, unhappiness, and fearfulness. With only a Bully to greet them and to push them deeper into their hole. As they fall, so does their mental stability. Would you want one of your loved one’s or even you to go through that? To that, many say no, and that’s why there needs to be a change. We need to enhance the security of Bullying in schools and we need a boost in our funds for Anti-Bullying
