What is a bully? According to The Free Dictionary as quoted by Joseph Simplicio, a bully is a "...person who is habitually cruel or overbearing especially to smaller or weaker people." Bullies cause children among school age to feel clinically depressed, isolated, powerless to change their situation, and they often perform poorly in school. Children should not have to feel this way ever which is why the Gresham-Barlow school district needs a policy to prevent bullying.
