Additionally, mental health is not the only major cause behind students acting out violently; another cause is bullying. Being bullied can push students to a point when they feel like the only thing to do is lash out violently*. If there was a way to maybe prevent that bullying from happening, then we could maybe prevent that school shooting from happening and ensure the safety of schools. Schools should initiate Anti-Bullying Programs.* These programs can teach kids what bullying can do to a person emotionally and physically, and also show kids how being bullied can make a person react.
