Anti-abortion measure continues deceptions and violates the constitution

Georgia has about 70 crisis pregnancy center that are operated by religious organizations and others who oppose abortion and birth control. They lure women in without revealing their bias, then providing false accounts of medical and emotional risks of abortion. They slant information given out to their patients, such as on birth control methods. Senate bill 380 recently passed by the Georgia senate would allow a form of state funding for these centers. They try to get around the separation of church and issue by creating them as non -profits to receive grants from the state.

This legislation was pushed by Senator Renee Undermine (R) It's too bad for the women of Georgia

When the monumental court case, Roe versus Wade (1973), which legalized abortion, Planned Parenthood started providing abortion services along with birth control services and STI testing and treatment (Roe 1 & Planned 1). Morally, many people felt abortion was wrong and were against the Roe versus Wade ruling. The protesting individuals caused a national uproar which sprung many lawmakers into action as they listened to their constituents. Four years after Roe v. Wade was implemented, the Supreme Court upheld a Connecticut law that prohibited Medicaid funding of abortions unless a physician certified the abortion as "medically necessary.”…

Such bills and amendments would include, the Hyde Amendment, which blocks federal funding for Medicaid to cover a woman’s abortion with the exception of rape, incest, or medical complications (Planned Parenthood). Then there are others, such as the 20-week ban, which is the maximum number of weeks that a woman can be pregnant after the act of conception (Planned Parenthood).
