Anthro Adventure Week Research Paper

The month was November, with the trees changing color and the temperature becoming colder it was my favorite time of the year. Watching the leaves fall outside the window I waited for my bag at the airport baggage claim. I had flown out to Florida for the annual Anthro-Adventure Week. It is a program that invites all of the anthros in America to a week vacation somewhere different each year. This year we were taking a trip to the Bahamas on a cruise ship. My bag finally came on the rotating baggage claim, and I picked it up and proceeded towards the taxi line. Reaching the line of bright yellow vehicles I received some stares directed towards my wolf ears. I climbed into a taxi in order to get away from the stares I had come to expect. We drove for a while until an enormous cruise ship came into view. The Anthro-Adventure Week was the one week a year I looked forward to. A break from the stares to be with others like me. "Here we are," the driver said pulling up to the building leading to the cruise ship. "Thanks A Million!" I said paying him and exiting the car excited. Walking into the building I saw the hundreds of other anthros like me. "This week is for you Dawn," I whispered to myself. Living alone in Nebraska proved to be a very monotonous and uneventful life. The people I worked with at Walmart were probably the best thing abut Nebraska. They never saw me as anyone other than myself, not letting the anthro part of me make me any different than them. After I checked in I obtained my ticket and headed towards the entrance to the ship. Upon boarding the ship I saw someone I recognized from last year. "Hey Jake!" I said. "Hey Dawn!" he said, "Fancy seeing you here." Jake was a part anthro fox with orange ears. He tried to downplay the fact that he was an anthro, but that didn't stop him from attending Anthro-Adventure Week. "Nice to see you," I said turning to head towards my room. "You
