In the beginning when Montero was arrested, he did not let the crime and wanted to prove that he wasn't the one that the wanted. The judge did fingerprints on the man they had held and noticed he wasn't the man that they were looking for (Gedan). This shows that the court took a DNA test when he was being put in prison and did not match it to the man that they were looking for and wanted to do justice for. At the time that Anthony was being put in prison they started to look for evidence that the criminal had touched, grab and took test of it. According to the story, they did DNA testing in a hospital to see if it was that man who did it, but it was another man with the same description of the criminal (Esmonde). This proves that when the police and lawyers saw that the blood or sperm left behind by the criminal did not match with the person that was put in prison.

There are many ways that a person can prove their innocence, remembering and proving what they had done and where they were at by that time of the day.
When a person has proven their innocence there are also consequences with the court or the police. At the time when being mistaken as a criminal the problems gets bigger for the court and the person who arrest the person that they think are guilty. In the start of Xianglin being arrested and given back the freedom she deserves the court had a problem, a few days later the court had been defined as a maintain social order for mistaking the innocent woman as a criminal (Daily). This proves that the court had some troubles after arresting the person that they thought was a criminal of a case of two murders. Another situation started when Mr.
Fishburne was arrested and mistaken for a fugitive. According in the the story , the police had to notice he was had the wrong man in the cell. The police was punished for a false arrest (Gedan).
This shows that when the police arrested the man and when being imprisoned and found that the man wasn’t the real Mr. Fishburne they were looking for, the police had trouble about
