The philosophical approach for this assignment is anthropocentrism. I chose this approach because it’s centered more so on one self. The CFL although, beneficial to the environment they are also a great advantage to the household. The CFL saves a significant amount of energy, it allows you to save extra money by purchasing less light bulbs and helps to lower your electric bill. At any rate I don’t feel this should be made a law, people should not be forced. Even though, you save in the long run CFL bulbs are more costly to purchase and not each individual are able to afford the upfront costs.
