Equality makes himself smarter and smarter in his quest for knowledge. I kinda pushes him to make and do the experiments that he does. Also another thing that pushed him is him knowing that his invention will impact his brothers and sisters. He says this in Chapter five page sixty , “Our discovery is too great for us to waste our time in sweeping the street’. …show more content…
Equality seems sane at the beginning at the book. As time goes on his lust for knowledge seems to make up who he is. So you could say that that is Equality’s ego he wants to be smart.
I think that Equality’s Primary motive to experiment and experiment at first was to be forgiven by his brothers and sisters. Later on in the story it's to get smarter and smarter. He gets this lust for
