Antawn Case Study

Decent Essays
Antawn is a 12 year old boy who is fairly groomed and appears his stated age. He is alert, oriented to person, place and time. Antawn is somewhat fidgety and has difficulty with following directions. His speech is abnormal in rate rhythm and volume. Antawn’s mood is constricted, unpredictable and extremely irritable at times. He has low frustration tolerance with limited coping skills. Therefore, Antawn often acts out his feelings by becoming combative with authority figures or he runs out of location. His insight and judgment are limited.
Antawn has a long history of disruptive, destructive and aggressive behavior He is the product of an unplanned pregnancy of two teenage parents. In addition he has a genetic predisposition to poor
