Did you know that for many people out there it is difficult for them to be comfortable with their bodies? There are women’s out there that just worry about food, eating, and body image. Some of the women’s that are just concerned about weight, body image, and food are the ones that spend most of their time thinking about food. These kind of people just base their self-esteem on their size. But it is just that most women find it hard to live in their own skin. Any women who is diagnosed with an eating disorder it is categorized as a psychiatric condition. Whether it is anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, or binge eating disorder. Anorexia nervosa is categorized as an eating disorder that is unable to maintain the body in a healthy weight. Bulimia nervosa is described as a disorders that includes unhealthy behaviors and including episodes of binge eating. All types of eating disorders are a serious condition that disturbs the body, thoughts, feelings, and relationships. (Slater et al., Daniel et al., & Banks et al., 2003).
Literature Review One of the case studies was just focused on was on the “Mortality Rates in Patients with Anorexia Nervosa and Other Eating Disorders”. (Arcelus et al., 2011). The study was mainly focused on to analyze the mortality rates in individuals that may have been diagnosed with an eating disorder. In which it included thirty-six Meta- analysis studies.
