Group Speech Outline: Anonymous Group/Movement

Specific Purpose: To inform the audience about the group known as Anonymous.
Introduction (Wear Mask)
Attention Getter: Last week a group known as anonymous revealed over 500 members of the KKK (Vandita), some of these people held positions of power and government in the United States. These are just one of their many targets.
Relevance to Audience: Anonymous works to protect free speech and anyone can join. On their YouTube channel they have posted a recruitment video. (Show Recruitment Video)

This is how they discussed who to attack and planned their operations.
Transition: After Anonymous developed into a full on society/group they figured out a way to stand up for their beliefs.
Second Main Point: Anonymous has several different methods of protesting, some of which are illegal.
Subpoint: Anonymous uses several different types of computer based attacks against their targets.
Subpoint: DDOS attacks are especially popular with anonymous because they are open people who are not necessarily computer savvy.
Subpoint: Even though most of the members of anonymous are not skilled hackers, some of their members do possess considerable skill in that department.
Subpoint: Anonymous does not only use computers to attack their targets.

In case you have not heard, according to the New York Post, Anonymous declared a cyber attack on ISIS following the terror attacks in Paris, France. (The New York Post)

After gaining members they transitioned into a larger organization characterized by their unique methods of attacking and goal of protecting free speech. Targets were attacked by a variety of methods ranging from full scale online assaults, to the sending hundreds of pizzas to the address of their target. Anonymous prioritizes censorship organisations and groups that restrict the freedom of speech as targets for their attacks.
