PMS is a term used for women who don't experience severe symptoms as much as women with PMDD. PMS is almost not considered as a disorder compared to PMDD. Unusual function of the serotonin, level of melatonin, cortisol and concentration in erythrocytes push the system to reflect controversial symptoms. A week before menstruation, women with PMS will experience symptoms such as anxiety, insomnia or hypersomnia, depression, lack of appetite, feeling of hopelessness, increase of sensitivity, lethargy and among other negative symptoms. PMDD on the other hand centralized the inactivation of the hormone estrogen that falls behind while the progesterone progresses uncontrollably. These flaws in the neuro system affect the brain mechanism provoking women to fall into serious and permanent condition such as depressive and panic disorder or even personality disorder. These inconsistencies in the brain cause these women their social life by creating an effect on their production or creativity and a limit to be themselves.

Despite the complication of this disorder, the authors still manage to analyze the possible treatment for premenstrual disorders. Number one recommended is a change of lifestyle

By focusing on the most severe and devastating symptoms and effects of PPD the mother who is suffering with less severe yet debilitating symptoms becomes fearful of a diagnosis of PPD resulting in increased incidence of concealment of symptoms from healthcare professionals and therapists. The intention of this article is pure and it attempts to draw attention to a very important issue while promoting a logical solution of depression screenings for prenatal and postnatal women. However, the execution of the article and the complete sacrifice of tact for the benefit of drama created fear instead of promotion of therapeutic education about…

It is possible for women to experience some form of PPD after an abortion or miscarriage (Venis and McCloskey 9).…

These findings again emphasize the need for a simple test for the presence of premenstrual tension. Unfortunately, the severity and type of symptom may vary from month to month and symptoms increase at times of stress, thereby adding to the difficulties of diagnosis. Premenstrual tension responds to treatment, but such treatment would need to be continued after the expiration of the prison sentence if any improvement in criminal tendency is to be expected; this suggests the need for such women being placed on probation subject to regular medical supervision.
