“Milk could be good for your brain” www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2015/03/150324101447.htm 1. The article claims that drinking milk can help prevent oxidative stress because it increases levels of glutathione.
2. A professor, Mr. Choi and his team studied 60 volunteers’ diets leading up to a brain scan to monitor levels of glutathione (powerful antioxidant) found in the brain. They found a positive correlation between people who have drunk milk recently with a higher level of glutathione, which could help prevent the oxidative stress.
3. Possible explanations for the claim are 1) the people who have the recommended daily intake of diary have higher levels of glutathione. For example, another professor, Ms. Sullivan found that few Americans
