The Intel article was about how women in third world countries do not have gender equality because of their lack of Internet access. According to the Intel, "women in third world countries tend to be less aware of the internet than men, have less facility online, and are often restricted by cultural norms from using the internet at all". In my opinion the APA, American Psychological Association, did an exceptional job on giving a report about sexualization of girls and women. For starters, APA has long been well influential on issues related to the impact of media content on children. In 1994 APA develop a policy resolution for violence in mass media and in 2005 APA adopted a policy resolution on "Violence in Video Games and Interactive Media". Throughout this report, it talks about how sexualization of girls can caused serious side effect on girls and it also points out how society as a whole can work to recognizing this problem and work to fixing this problem. From my perspective APA gave a great definition on what sexualization really is and they also did a great job in examining the prevalence of sexualization in society and other cultural institutions. The report did a good job in showing how sexualization has negative consequences for girls. For example, the report pinpointed that sexualization of girls is linked to common mental health problems like eating disorders, low self-esteem, and depression. I also appreciated how the report describes positives alternatives that may have counteract the influence of sexualization. All in all I feel that the report was an excellent piece that was very motivating and very knowledgeable. The only thing I dislike were the few errors the report had. It wasn’t that article have strategic errors but more of grammatical errors that could have been found using Microsoft Word and because critics take a look of those little mistakes, it could make them look a little less credible for the amount of errors that it did
