This video takes viewer through the life of Randolph as he tries to fight for equal civil rights for all people in the society. It demonstrates the injustices done to some people and the people’s cry for better treatment. This source will be important in informing my research.

Savan Leslie. “What’s Black, Then White, and Said All Over?” Emerging Contemporary Writings for Readers. 2nd ed. Ed Barclay Barrios. Boston: Bedford/St. Martins, 2013. 434-458.
Savan, in the essay, tries to analyze the black language appropriation into popular culture but majors on the role of music and adverts in bringing black language into white culture. According to Savan, practices like borrowing and crossover helps to keep languages alive hence help improve other parts of culture. The ideas in this article will be relevant and thus useful to my study.

The author sought to understand the form of the African American cultural appropriation and whether it was a slave culture. The findings and insights of this will be important and relevant to informing my study. The author also reviews the stories of people who feel that the cultural appropriation have victimized
