Utilizing a website to deliver their message is a plus especially with the current generation of students; except that in order to empower people and make a significant difference more resources are required in term of more scientific findings and even public exposure in terms of advertisements. Moreover, the approach the program takes in providing links for counselling groups, the various treatment options available for each form of anxiety disorder and the numerous self tests that it encourages individuals to take and present to their physician, is phenomenal (2007). I have known someone who suffers from this disorder and the treatment options suggested are still relevant given that the website is 9 years old. Furthermore, the self diagnosis is a great tool for individuals who are timid and are afraid to share their crisis verbally. A few of the reasons for these statistics are inaccurate representation in the media, misinformation on the importance of seeking treatment, or not being aware of the different treatment options. Any race, gender, or age range can be affected by anxiety. Therefore it is critical to remember anyone can be affected by anxiety (Goldberg, 2014). Over the years I have experienced both severe anxiety and depression. When I found my self in the middle of an anxiety attack I always tried to get away from everyone and just close my eyes to imagine my safe place, the place where my anxiety and depression did not suffocate me. This place I envisioned for myself is the same place I still find myself going back to in my mind, even today for example when I learned one of my classes might prevent me from going to pharmacy school in the fall. My special place is on the Coney Island beach under the pier. Usually when I take myself to this place, it isnt the dirty, moldy beach that we see when we go to Coney Island but it is absolutely beautiful.…
