Beck and Linda Black illustrates how Deng took action and attacked his own people just because of a protest. Roger B. Beck and Linda Black are both writers for the “Modern World History Patterns of Interaction” textbook and they talk about the challenges that China and Hong Kong had endured and all the human rights acts against the public. The intended audience are those who are interested in the Human Rights Violations that China 's leaders had put upon the citizens and how much they have been wronged. This source was great because it helped me as the researcher be able to understand who those before me in my culture had to endure to be who they are today. This was also useful for our project so that we would be able to really discuss how China’s government has wronged the people and how the people had responded to the madness.
