Anne Kept People Spirits Up

In the secret annex, Anne kept people spirits up, because as she says, “ In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart.” and of course she would want to bring out the good in the people she was with for two years.
Throughout the play Anne become closer with Peter and near the beginning, before they were friends, Anne stole Peter’s shoes. Anne had some fun with it and she definitely amused some of the adults, whether they showed it or not. Just after that Anne started dancing and Mr. Frank joined in. The adults were also amused by Peter and Anne’s “relationship.”
Another big way that Anne helps to keep everyone’s spirits up was when her and Mr. Frank got everyone else presents for Hanukkah. She even got her Dad
