The novel Night by Elie Wiesel tells the story of Elie’s experiences during the Holocaust. Throughout the novel there are three important themes that readers notice. The novel starts in sighet Romania where Elie was born on September 26, 1928. He had 3 sisters they was a Jewish family and their faith in God played an important role in not only their lives but in many other Jewish families lives. Another common theme is that the main character in these stories don't really have parents. There might be a parent in the story but that parent isn't raising their kids. One major theme from this book was that the main character had a tough life and had a rough background. Despite this, he ended up being alright. The book appealed to me more in an emotional way than a logical way.…
Thousands of people have died in wars or from wars. During World War Two, thousands of innocent Jews died everyday in concentration camps or on the streets fighting because they did not want to be taken away from their homes. In the drama Anne Frank it shows how the characters were impacted by many historical events. Two ways the character’s changed from historical events was their mood and their relationships with one another.…
Imagine being born a certain way and being punished for who you were born as. Well Anne Frank didn’t have to imagine this, instead this was her reality. Anne Frank was born a Jew and grew up her first years of childhood as a normal kid. Soon her life turned around and her and all of the Jew population was being punished. The play and the movie were different and alike in many ways, but after analyzing both, the movie is much more preferred.…
To either be angry or at ease. These are the two paths a character must choose in the face of adversity. Anne Frank was an important character in history because of her diary where she wrote about her days, hiding from Nazis, in an Amsterdam attic above her father’s office. It provides a very vivid glimpse into the world of a young Jewish girl living in a Nazi occupied Holland. Not only does it share what she went through but it tells how hard it was to survive as a German-Jewish girl in the Holocaust. A famous quote from Anne Frank is “I keep my ideals, because in spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart.” which is very inspiring considering what happened to her.…

Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be.” These words were spoken by Anne Frank. On April 15, 1944, just one hundred eleven days before she was taken captive by the Nazis, Anne Frank wrote, “I want to go on living even after my death! And that 's why I 'm so grateful to God for having given me this gift, which I can use to develop myself and to express all that 's inside me” (Frank 249, 251). Anne’s hope was that she could create her own legacy through her writing. Anne Frank enlightens the world through her wisdom, though she never knew her work was published. Anne Frank inspires many because she continues to enable younger people to connect to and understand the Holocaust, she exhibited wisdom beyond her years, and leaves a lasting legacy of hope in the goodness of mankind.…

Theme - Death Intro Paragraph- The book Thirteen Reasons Why probably has the most connections with high school and teenagers than any book I have read before. The theme that I have chosen is death, because it surrounds the whole book. It relates to the book through the cassette tapes that Hannah records, always reminding that she committed suicide. It also relates to real life through all the teen suicides that occur from the actions coming from another person.…

While she was a teenager, adolescent Anne kept track of her daily life in a journal.…
