If Anne was going to be locked away from sunlight and the world, she should at least have had large areas to traverse, rooms to leap through, and space for her impressive intellect to expand. Sara possessed exceptional physical skills in the play. She used her physical movement to dance around the stage, and clearly showed how lost Anne was in her imagination, as her parents and other adult characters fretted over the safety and dangers of their hiding. Furthermore, in the play, Anne had to cross that divide between her life's chapter of childhood to adolescence. The actress is able to show how Anne matures over time. For instance, she is able to show the change of Anne embracing her older sister Margot more. In addition, she becomes more conscious to her sexual awakening. Through Sara's acting, we can see how she begins to see Peter in a new light, and is able to express her attraction to him. Her maturity also made her more spiritual. Overall, I believe that Sara's confidence made her successful in being able to express Anne's zest for
