A Jewish girl about the age of 13, brings to life the experience of the Holocaust. Her inspiring words, kept in a journal of what her life was like during World War II. Throughout all of history, her words informed the public of what truly took place within the walls of the Concentration Camps. She and her sister endured a horrific, traumatic event that changed the face of history. Keeping a positive outlook on life, and thinking up clever quotes, she was able to use this experience to inform everyone of what was actually taking place. A quote often used by Anne Frank goes like this: “ People can tell you to keep your mouth shut, but that doesn’t keep you from having your own opinion.” Anne Frank used writing to escape the chaos surrounding her once happy and carefree life. Anne felt people had good hearts, even in her darkest hour. At the age of 14, Anne found her inner voice. She discovered a way to relieve her fear and found sunshine within her soul. She gave her life up, but her words continue to uplift and inspire the good in everyone. …show more content…
Her family consisted of Otto Frank as her father and Edith Frank as her mother. Anne had 1 sister that was with her through it all and her name was Margot Frank. Otto Frank was a lieutenant in the German army during WW1. The Franks fled the country when Hitler became chancellor of Germany on January 20,1933. They moved to the Netherlands in 1933 where Otto got into the business of making jam. “ In those days, it was possible for us to start over and to feel free.” Frank, Otto.
