Anne Frank was a young jewish girl who loved to write. During the World War II Adolf Hitler hated Jews, he thought Jews corrupted everyone and everything. Anne died of Typhus in one of the concentration camps the Nazi’s. Anne Frank’s diary though, sold more than 30 million copies.She wanted to be a professional writer when she was older. Anne Frank had a diary that she loved to write with. She would call the person she was writing Kitty. (History)

Hitler hated Jews, Hitler would say that Jews are “evil”. So Hitler sent them away to camps. These camps were called, “concentration camps”. Another place Hitler sent Jews were the getos. The Nazis made Jews do forced labor. The Nazis also killed many Jews. (Enkivillage)

There were more than 40,000 concentration camps in Europe. All this started in January 1933. That was when the first ever concentration camp was built and was working. The Nazi’s would do the worse to Jews. The Jews were given very little food. The Nazis would lock the Jews into gas chambers. (Concentration Camps)
Anne Frank and her family were Jewish. So the Franks and a couple other people went into hiding. The Franks went into hiding with Herman van Pels, his wife Auguste and, their son Peter. This family was also Jewish. The two families lived in a secret annex in Amsterdam. Even though the Nazis were hunting down jews Anne didn’t give up her passion for writing. Anne Frank usually wrote about what she did every day.
