Anne has gone through a awful and horrible times in her life. Anne has visually perceived an abundance of horrible people, but in the quote "In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart." This quote tells that people that were in the same situation would of thought only of themselves and how they would be when the war ended instead of worrying how everyone around them would be when the war ended. One example of this quote being utilized in the play and in the book would be when Anne wants and hopes to end the quarries in the Annex. This can be found on page 365.
"No one has ever become poor by giving." This is a very potent quote by Anne Frank. This quote is potent because it shows that Anne still cared about people and how they felt albeit the situation she was in. Anne was in an awful situation where most people could have stayed selfish and only cared for themselves. Anne, on the other hand, was not akin to most of those people she perpetuated to care for everyone in the annex and perpetuated to fortify them.
