Anne Frank Quotes

The Holocaust was a tragic event in history where Jews were killed at the hands of those who are evil a.k.a the Nazis. One girl named Anne Frank, who was jewish said this beautiful quote “In spite of everything, I still believe people are really good at heart.” Despite all the hate that was going around in hiding there still was some good in everybody, and after reading The Diary Of Anne Frank I agree with Annes quote. Overall I am agreeing with Annes quote is due to Mieps kindness and helpfulness especially during the hiding and helping the jews. However I can see how people disagreed with Annes quote due to Mr. Van Daan being bad and stealing food while everybody is asleep.

In the book Overall I seen a lot of acts of kindness but

Van Daans stealing of the food. This scene occurs on page 120 “ Narrator- Everyone is in bed and all is quite. A dim cool light falls through the skylight. We can faintly see Mr and Mrs. Frank and Anne in their beds. Margot sleeps behind the the drawn curtain. Suddenly in the attic room a match flares up for a moment and then is quickly put out. Mr. Van Daan in bare feet, dressed in underwear and trousers, is dimly seen coming steltibly down the attic stairs and into the center room. He goes tot the food cupboard under the sink and again light a match. Then he gingerly opens the cupboard and takes out a half loaf of bread. As he closes the cupboard it creaks. He stands rigid. Mrs. Frank sits up in bed and sees Mr. Van Daan.” This quote or scene is really messed up and I can see how people disagreed with Annes quote. One reason I can see how people agree with Annes quote is He could of asked to get up and get some food but insisted of stealing instead so he's a bad man. Another reason I can see how people disagreed with Annes quote is Sence he stole the food now they don't trust him and he became untrustworthy. Last but not Least the last reason I can see how people disagree with Annes quote is I know its a bad thing to steal but he could of just took a little hunk of bread instead of half of a

When Anne Frank says that, “Everything she does is right, ,and everything I do is wrong!” I think as a result of Margot being a goody-two-shoe because she doesn’t obtain in trouble and she is beloved by her mother, reasons why she is always right. I think that Anne Frank feels like everyone is against her like she doesn’t belong there, again since her saying the word “goat” describes how she thinks that she doesn’t belong in the Secret Annex with her friends and family. I also think that she feels like everyone won’t accept her, even though she tries so much, by her saying that, “You’re all against me!” meaning that everyone in the Secret Annex won’t accept or are against…

The Holocaust was and is a terrible thing for all of us, but even more so for the people who lived through it in camps or in hiding and fear, especially Anne Frank, Elie Wiesel and others that lived to tell their tale. “But where there's hope, there's life. It fills us with fresh courage and makes us strong again. “(Frank 230) This is an amazing quote from Anne Frank’s diary, this is awesome because those who held on and hoped for the best, hoped for the end, and hoped for freedom survived longer than those who gave up.…

Miss Havisham can be symbolized as one of the main antagonists of the novel. She had never lived life to its fullest, after she was left at the altar. After her wedding incident, she stopped bathing; stopped all the clocks in her home; never left the house, as shown by quote number one; and never took off her bridal dress. The image of Miss Havisham’s bridal cake shows that she held on to everything from the past, no matter how disgusting it made her life; consequently, making herself miserable. This quote shows how Jews will forever be displayed as an example for their immense strength and bravery. Anne Frank, along with the other survivors of the Holocaust, had some source of motivation to make it out of such a horrific event. In the memoir Night by Elie Wiesel and the film Life is Beautiful directed by Roberto Benigni, they show many examples of how in the worst circumstances, there was only one thing that gave people strength to keep going, family.…
