Imagine being a young teenager, having to hide for your life, wondering when your next is meal is going to be and having your family stripped away from you. Many of us day to day people wouldn’t be able to comprehend having such a troublesome life, but Anne Frank did. Anne Frank took a role in WWII (specifically the Holocaust) by giving us an insight of the lives of the Jewish during the holocaust. Many of the information that we know today about the Holocaust came from her diary.

Anne Frank was born in Frankfurt, Germany, on June 12, 1929. Her parents are Edith and Otto Frank. Then in less than four years down the road, Adolf Hitler became chancellor of Germany. Which eventually caused Anne Frank and her family to go into hiding in the year
