Anne Frank: Comparing The Book And The Movie

The movie of Anne Frank is an exaggeration for the sake of interest. The movie added things to enhance itself while the play stayed mostly true to Anne Frank’s story. Like most productions, the play and the movie were very different in accuracy, the limitations and the motives of the productions. Both the play and the movie lack accuracy when it comes to the true story of Anne Frank’s life. Both the movie and the play have a lack of accuracy. However the play is more accurate because it doesn’t say things that it don’t know. Was based off of the book one source. It used culture and beliefs and religious ideas in the play. The play was accurate to the true story of Anne Frank because it use real traditions and things that were normal in life to a Jew. They had to make things up about Anne in the movie like how she was downstairs sometimes. The movie was created to tell Anne’s story in a more passionate way or to speak a message to us. In the movie and play they had to show 2 years of information in only a few hours that seems unrealistic they can’t have every detail in the movie. In the movie they had to make things up to cover what they didn’t know like we don’t know what exactly happened to Anne in the camps. They didn’t have very many sources they had the diary and the play but Anne didn’t tell us more. The play and the movie can’t completely reflect Anne’s life because she left her diary and because she died we don’t have any more info about Anne other then what she left
