The Holocaust was a time of disaster and catastrophe. Jewish people were criticized and blamed for everyday problems because of what they believed in. Prior to Hitler coming to power, Anne Frank lived her life like any other girl, because of Hitler's rules she had to abandon her school and pin a star on her clothes. Anne then had to move into hiding, here she followed strict rules so that the Nazis wouldn't capture her. Anne went to three different concentration camps leading up to her arrest.…

There are many interesting parts throughout a nonfiction work of writing; the most interesting piece of information I learned while reading Anne Frank’s, The Diary of a Young Girl, was how Anne managed to accept her difficult life while staying positive. For example, Anne understood the problems from the war: “...we really ought to save every penny, to help other people, and save what is left from the wreckage after the war” (64). In spite of the fact that Anne dealt through problems with her family, she still strived to comfort others during the war. Comparatively, Anne exclaimed, “It is really true that as the news from outside gets worse, so the radio with its miraculous voice helps us to keep up our morale and to say again, ‘Chins…

If so some people have probably read some different scripts to see if it would tell if there is a certain way of thinking back to past events. In “The Diary of Anne Frank” Mr Frank reflected on his life about two years before, during some historical events such as world war II.…

The diary of Anne Frank is an amazing true story that affects me personally and emotionally because to even think about living in an attic for two years makes me think how grateful I am. She is going through the same things every teenager goes through and is not embarrassed about it. I also think she is very serious about her writing because I tried to keep a diary of my own but I always forget about it and even though Anne did miss some days she brought to us some amazing stories. When I was reading the diary there were some dull moments but there was lots of dramatic moments. Anne Frank had some knowledge that she was going to die and I feel like that made the diary famous because it didn't have a happy ever after.…

The Diary of a Young Girl Anne Frank I’ve chosen to read and write a response to The Diary of a Young Girl for a number of reasons, but the main reasons Anne Frank’s wartime diary stood out to me is because Anne Frank was a fairly normal and typical teenaged child, however unlike us she was unfortunate enough to be born in the soon to be war stricken era 1929, just before one of the worst events in history would soon occur, the rise of the Nazi’s, and the story is somewhat relevant to what is happening today, in the Middle East and throughout Europe, year 2015, Normal, typical kids just like me and my fellow student are becoming victims to war, losing everything they loved, having their families ravaged, possessions and belongings destroyed, while the “lucky” ones are forced to flee the country leaving everyone and everything they knew behind. Although multiple adaptations of Anne Frank’s diary have been developed several being films and plays, I’ve still chosen to stick with the book.…
