as when she said that she on no ceremony when she called to the great house to meet the Musgrove family she said when Mary suggests that she should wait until the Musgroves first com to see her " I should never think of standing on such ceremony with people I know so well as Mrs. And Miss Musgroves ". Her sense of humor is seen in her feeling amused when Henrietta wrote a letter to Dr. Shirley urging him to employ a younger man as an assistant while having in her mind her own fiancé Charles Hayter.
Though Anne is naturally a passive type , she is capable of taking the lead when faced with a crisis, when Louisa falls , Anne was the only one beside captain Wentworth who was able to keep calm and behave correctly , she offers comfort to them trying to quiet Mary and encourage Charles and captain Wentworth to move her gently to the inn , and this show that there some era of Anne personality that was undeveloped
