A famous lawyer that has a successful career is Anne Bremner. Anne Bremner is an attorney and has appeared as a commentator on high profile cases. Anne Bremner attended Stanford University and graduated in 1980. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Seattle University School of Law. After graduating she worked as a deputy prosecuting attorney. From 1988 to 2012 Anne Bremner worked at a private practice. During this she was involved in many important cases. She then went on to appear on CourtTV. In 2005 she took a leave of absence to be a commentator on People v. Jackson. Anne Bremner said, “Any time there's silence like this in a case, the parties have got to be talking. Cases don't just languish unless there's something else going on.” She also appeared as a commentator on the Casey Anthony trial. Anne Bremner has and continues to have a very successful law career. The first step is self assessment. While in her undergraduate work she realized she had a passion for law and decide to go to law school. While in law school she explored the world of work and where she would best fit in. Before she graduated law school she looked at where she would fit in. This is the plan of action part of the career development process. Lastly, Anne Bremner set goals for herself so that she would know what she wanted to accomplish.
My 5 Year Vision assignment relates to this career beginning since I am going to attend law school. From my research I realized how important networking and connections were since they helped Anne Bremner land her careers. I also learned that I need to take all opportunities since I never know what they may lead to I plan to prepare for the organizational changes I found by working well with others. I can do this while communicating with my peers and professors. This will help me improve my personal skills and prepare me for a successful career in
