Anna quindlen wanted to help the unwealthy , poor families have at least a meal a day. It was a school lunch program that she created and it became a big success. It helped the families that couldn’t supply for their children to eat and for them as well. Her purpose is to help families while she can before school’s out, so they’ll at least have something in their bodies before the summer begin. She was a nice person she wanted to reach out to everybody. Before she even started her program half of the kids wasn’t eating it was like so many kids that had ate. So that’s why she made a program for everyone.
