Anna Garcia was a 38 year old Hispanic female that lived alone in her home. On a hot summer day a call came in at 9:45 am notifying authorities of deadly suspicions involving Ms. Garcia. When the EMTs arrived at the scene at 9:46 am they found Anna Garcia lying dead on the floor surrounded by various pieces of evidence. There were many factors that may have led to the death of Anna, which is already apparent due to the wide variety of substances found around her body. Investigators collected many pieces of evidence of which include; hair strands, blood pool, blood splatter, unmarked drugs, mysterious drink, syringe, fingerprint, shoe print, vomit, and a knocked over, small table. The medical examiner found signs of oxygen deprivation before death. The examiner also found a superficial wound on the head. This autopsy was only partial and did not reveal the entirety of what may have happened to Anna Garcia. The investigators also looked into Anna’s past and recent history. Medically Anna Garcia had only recently been to the doctor and was prescribed antibiotics for an infection. As for her friends she was recently in an argument over ownership of a bakery with her best friend, she was also in the middle of a divorce with her ex-husband, as well as just recently broke up with her boyfriend and neighbor Doug Greene. All three of these persons have been placed on a suspect list and are under close examination. Alex Garcia, Anna’s ex-husband, stopped by her house the day before her death to have her sign some final divorce documents. Anna’s had a heated argument over the ownership of the bakery the night before as well with her best friend. This led investigators to believe there had to be some outside motivation for her death.
