Anita Ssim Case Analysis

Decent Essays
After being appointed as president of the Walton Arts Center, Anita Scism is facing a lot of challenges, including functioning with a newly developed and restructured team (Todd & White, 2002). In order to prepare for the strategic planning retreat with the Board members and management team, Anita will need to closely evaluate the strategic management process, including the external analysis, the internal analysis, and the mission of the center (Lester & Parnell, 2006). With the new appointment of Taylor Swain as Senior Vice President of Programs, it will be necessary for Anita to delegate the external analysis report to Swain. Since Anita has retained much of her previous responsibilities, she will be responsible for the internal analysis.
