Anita Scism was appointed the new Interim President/ CEO position by the Walton Art Center (WAC) Board of Directors. Scism was facing several challenges taking on her new role. Her main focus was increasing the revenue and moving (WAC) forward into the future. A strategic planning retreat was scheduled for the Board members and the management team. Scism can bring up the plans for reviewing the mission statement, having more stimulating and one of a kind art adventures. Bill Mitchell set up the (WAC) facility with his leadership, which gave the organization local and national recognition. He provided productive guidance and influence for the construction and development of WAC ( Todd & White, 2002 ). Scism will execute her responsibilities
