Did you know that many animals many remarkable uses for the military. From a dolphin’s sonar ability to a canine’s keen sense of smell and astonishing hearing. Many soldiers since The Great War have relied on various animals on the the battlefield. Animals give a plethora of benefits for the military. To begin with, dolphins are able to assist the Navy in a handful of ways. One way is to flag mines to clear waterways so that ship can pass through. “You take a handful of dolphins and you clear a waterway and you can feed hundreds of thousands of people” (Vargas 1). This shows how useful dolphins are to the navy by being able to feed hundreds of thousands of people. Following up, dogs have many purposes in all branches of the military. From
