Have you ever wondered if animals can think? That is what Eugene Linden and Josh Plotnik are trying to find out. They have seen and conducted experiments on many animals and all their observations prove that animals can think. There were surprised by this so they decided to write an article about it. Using these articles, this essay was made proving why animals can think.
One way this statement is shown is in the article Can Animals Think, by Eugene Linden, was when he talked about Fu Manchu. The text says, “First, the young ape climbed down some air-vent louvers into a dry moat. Then, taking hold of the bottom of the furnace door, he used brute force to pull it back just far enough to slide a wire into the gap, slip a latch and pop the door open.” This shows that Fu Manchu had the strength and intelligence to find his way out of his cage and use it to escape when the time is right.
