How we all grew up
According to PETA, “Almost all of us grew up eating meat, wearing leather, and going to circuses and zoos. Many of us bought our beloved “pets” at pet shops, had guinea pigs, and kept beautiful birds in cages” (PETA). We ate McDonald’s burgers, and fished, to all of us it seemed like the normal thing to do. Our parents taught us the importance of treating every animal with dignity, but it was not until we got older that we became aware of how animals where used in experiment treatments. We never seem to make any connections of how animals were helping to solve some of those problems.

The 21st Century has brought new ideas for the pros and cons of animal testing. The primary cause of animal testing continues with the advancement in the medical field leading to benefits of a healthier life for the human race. Nevertheless, we also became aware of the abuse animals where going through. For the same reason how animal testing was conduct has change dramatically. There are no other alternatives, animals are subject to research because they contain similar features to humans. for example chimpanzees share 99% of their DNA with humans while mice are 98% genetically the same as humans. There’s no other creatures in the world that same such similiaries with humans so why not take advantage and investigated how those similiaryes can help to ended diseases that are killing millions of people.testing on living whole system scientist are able to study the process quit well what’s happening in the central nervous system,endotrine system,and the immune system.this can be really helpful in checking the side effects of the drug being tested as well as the side effects went the drug travel to the different part of the body and animals are the only ones that can help with such proceducere.supercomputers can not compare to the body of any animal.A long with this medical research has benefits from animal testing because todays, “surgical techniques could not have been discovered without better understanding of medical disease and the way the body works.” More and more people are coming alive from danger procedures of surgeries because the surgeon have more experinace and had investigated how the body has work.
