Paragraph #1 Animal testing is a scientific experiment to test cosmetics such as paint, dye, inks, petrol products, tars, and waste materials. Petrol products is typically used for transporting vehicles, but shocking that they even test gas (petrol) on animals. The animals that have been mostly tested are rats, mice, and that 42 percent of our rabbits are gone because of animals testing. After each experiment on an animal is done, that animal has gave up their lives to test some cosmetic substance for us. Many cosmetic companies like Chanel, Dior, MAC, CoverGirl, Sephora and etc are very popular brands that many of us use, but did you know that they test on a major portion of our wealthy animals? Imagine being in the animals position, being …show more content…
Mice, rats, frogs, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, monkeys are all of the animals we test on that will eventually easily die because of animal testing. What the animals experiment daily is injection or force feeding them with potential harmful substances, exposing animals to radiation, surgically removing animals organs or tissues to deliberately cause damage, forcing animals to inhale toxic substances, subjecting animals to frightening situations to create anxiety and depression. It’s a lot of damage towards good-natured animals to test the beauty products on them like a useless beneficial object. The animals pain during the experiment is severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, convulsions, seizures, paralysis, or bleeding from the mouth, nose, genitals before they are dead. All of the pain caused to animals lead to 100 million animals gone each year because of testing, including people who hunt or eat chicken, duck, fish, and other types of meat which adds another 850 million animals with animal testing. Imagine, being trapped in a laboratory being tested on your eyes, being injected with chemicals, inhaling toxic gases, and being the ones to suffer the same thing animals feel

Today's world is becoming blinded daily by the menacing and threatening treatment towards animals. Almost all humans grew up eating meat, wearing wool, and enjoying a day at the zoo. Almost all remember bringing home their furry new family member of the pet store. Humans fail to recognize the impact of these actions that at the time seemed so careless. More than one hundred million animals each year are burned, poisoned, or mistreated in experimental labs.…

Animal Research is, has always been, and will most likely continue to be a delicate subject. The use of animals in research ranges from cosmetics to medical and wherever there are animals being tests there are groups of people arguing the morality and ethics of the testing being done. Excluding cosmetics and the like for now (that’s a different argument), the use of animal research in neuroscience is absolutely necessary and though it is a sensitive issue, there are ways to make it more ethically acceptable and to protect the animals themselves from blatant cruelty. Today, animal research is more humane than it has ever been.…

On average, about 26 million animals are taken and used as little test subjects for big corporations to test their possibly harmful, and occasionally lethal, products before they release them to the public's use. This testing on animals began in 500 B.C and many corporations that participate in it see no harm, and have absolutely no intentions of stopping it anytime soon. There are many people that think testing these possibly dangerous products on innocent animals is not a big deal, but this paper will inform the public with some statistics and also give you the writer's perspective on why animal testing is wrong. One thing that is very arguable when talking about whether testing on these creatures should be approved, and continue or…

This quote explains animal testing perfectly; “Many cosmetic companies test their new products and ingredients by forcing rabbits, hamsters, and mice, among others, to endure horrific practices such as breathing in poisonous fumes or having lethal chemicals poured into their eyes and rubbed into their skin”(Natasha Cole, Cruelty Free Cosmetics). Many supporters of animal testing will argue that it can have positive outcomes, however, humanity uses it in vain ways. This makes it especially wrong because humans are treating animals cruelly and inhumanely mostly to look attractive. Continuing on about cosmetic testing on animals: “Animal testing for cosmetics is an outdated practice and does not provide the most reliable results regarding the safety, performance, or possible reactions that cosmetic products or ingredients could have in a person” (Natasha Cole, Cruelty Free Cosmetics). The reason to continue these means of testing on animals proves to be no longer relevant because easier and more reliable ways of testing do indeed exist.…

A rabbit strains against the box confining him, only able to move his head, as a scientist comes by to drop chemicals into his eyes. Hundreds of other rabbits are beside him, getting the same chemical dropped into their eyes that causes burning pain to erupt. Millions of animals go through excruciatingly painful tests that cause suffering and usually end in death, just so researchers can predict what might happen to a human if they were to use the product being tested. Animal testing is a controversial subject but in the end, it is unreliable, cruel, unjustified, and should come to an end. To begin with, animal experimentation provides unreliable test results and false information on the side effects of products.…

The suffering the animals go through during the experimentation are not worth it to humans. Animals feel the same pain, the only difference is that we scream and cry nonstop, but animals cannot do that. Animals either survive through all the pain throughout the experimentation or cause death through the experiment. The animals suffer by vomiting, diarrhea, paralysis, convulsion, skin deterioration, or internal bleeding. A lot of times animals are given no anesthesia for the pain.…

767,622 different types of animals were used in 2015, and even more in 2016. AAVS reported their annual statistics showing over the years how many animals have been used, and how much they have to suffer due to scientists using them. Animals shouldn’t be put through this kind of conditions, so they shouldn’t be used for scientific testing, because it’s inhumane, it leads to nowhere, and it’s not even accurate. First of all, animals go through very harsh testing, and barely survive. They get inflicted with burns, decapitated, and sometimes even get deprived of food and water for many days.…

Imagine a world without vaccines. What starts as a small cough can grow into something much worse, and without the proper medicine to treat our infections and illnesses, we can land ourselves in an early grave. Because of the discoveries made by scientists with the help of animal testing, we’ve gained access to many different kinds of medicine and antibiotics. Animal testing has been used for years to improve our lives, but many people believe it is cruel and inhumane. These people are commonly known as animal rights activists, but they’ve also been called antivivisectionists.…

“Each year, more than 100 million animals—including mice, rats, frogs, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, monkeys, fish, and birds—are killed in U.S. laboratories for biology lessons, medical training, curiosity-driven experimentation, and chemical, drug, food, and cosmetics testing(Using)”. It is estimated that at least 6% of the animals also experience pain. It may not look like a lot, but 6% is a lot when there are more than 100 million animals being tested. According to Orlans, the animals suffer from "vomiting, diarrhea, paralysis, convulsion, and internal bleeding. Since death is the required endpoint, dying animals are not put out of their misery by euthanasia"…

The main reason why we animal test is for cosmetic research, not medical research, which is the only type that can be half accepted. Medical research for humans on animals means they still do not get the correct results we need because of the two different reactions of chemicals in two different animals. Popular brands hide the way they animal test because they know that when people find out their product will not sell as well. Global warming is also a huge and rising problem on our earth, and by cutting out cosmetic research on animals, it will mean a few hundred less factories running around the world and releasing fumes into the atmosphere. This will mean a lot of jobs lost, but there are plenty more jobs in the world and it will only benefit our world.…

The animals kept in laboratories for experimentation go through mistreatment and incredible pain for human gain (Bishop and Nolen 92). Animal experimentation began centuries ago around the 1700’s in ancient Rome where many artists and scholars became curious over the human body. Technology was not as advanced as it is today so the alternatives that are present now were not present then. They believed that using the human body as an experiment was wrong and that humans have dominion over the animals. In addition, they also believed that animals were not capable of feeling any…

Specifically, different types of harmful tests practiced on animals are such as, “Examples of animal tests include forcing mice and rats to inhale toxic fumes, force-feeding dogs pesticides, and dripping corrosive chemicals into rabbits sensitive eyes” (101). To imagine these animals sitting and waiting in fear for the next painful procedure to come is pure sickening. These incredibly cruel and painful tests animals have to go through are incredibly abominable to even think…
