They would intentionally cut the rat’s spine to prevent brain signals from reaching the legs and then try to get them to walk again. The researchers discovered that the nerves in the rat’s spine could heal themselves if the rat was motivated to walk again. Tasty pastries from nearby shops were a common means of motivation.…

The assignment I am most proud of is the research paper I wrote in my freshman year. I chose to write this research paper with the goal of determining the influence that animal testing has on humans. The reason I chose this topic was that of my interest in the rights of animals and humans. I strive for the conservation and safety of animals and humans. I felt that writing an essay about the effect of animal testing on humans could determine ways in which animal testing could be stopped for the benefit of animal and human life.…

Many people have gave the opinion that without the testing of animals and the advancements they have made from their testing would have never been discovered. Animals are often placed into a lower category because humans don’t want to notice similarities between them and their test subjects. Although animals did help with the creation of many cures and other medical advances now with the technology available from the research already done the testing of animals now cannot be excused as ethically right.…

Human benefit should not overrule any damage or destruction to animals. Because the Animals can suffer like humans do, so it is speciesism to experiment on them while we refrain from experimenting on humans. After studying multiple views on animal testing I have come to realize my personal view has now changed since the start of my research. Before undergoing heavy study into animal testing I believed that all types of animal testing should be stopped, but now I believe that the idea is very beneficial and should only be done when the rights of the animal are considered. In the coming years, hopefully, more regulations can be passed to ensure that all animal’s lives are protected during experimentation. Although most animals are treated with care and no pain is dealt to them when undergoing testing, it would be a lie if I stated no animals are harmed during the process. Animal testing is extremely useful in developing life-saving drugs and medicine.…
