They spent 100’s of years of creating new ways to help find cures and minerals but they …show more content…

Their is a practice called vivisection and that is when animals are worked on alive without pain medications distributed (Cruelty to Animals in Laboratories PETA). That is the most painful procedure done in the entire process. It is even illegal to do that kind of practice on a human being. Throughout the time the animal is being worked on it is going thru non-stop pain. The government thinks that animals are born unable to feel any sort of pain (The Wilsons Gang Website). These animals live day in and day out in pain and stress with no end to the cycle. The pain and stress they encounter becomes so overwhelming that they end up going into shock. These creatures have absolutely no control over their body, living conditions and even food. They are deprived of food and water for days. They have transplanting, shocking and there bones broken (Cruelty to Animals in Laboratories PETA). They will walk up and snap legs, necks , arms pretty much any bone to make them immobile. Pieces of their brain will be cut out of them for experiments. They will make them immobile and just leave them there for days, weeks or even months. People in their industry don't even consider them as animals, they call them science or things. There is not a day a in the testing area that an animal is not endorsing a terrible amount of

Imagine your family pet being enclosed in a small, cold, and dirty cage for days, weeks, or even months on end, only being taken out to be subjected to painful experiments without any anesthetic, as well as the possibility of developing life threatening diseases and injuries. Too many animals experience this on a regular basis around the globe - in fact, nearly 25 million animals will be used as test subjects annually. Animal testing is a horrible occurrence, one that brings suffering to even the smallest of creatures. Many people do not know the extremes of the effects of this practice, which are unnecessarily painful to animals, or that alternatives do exist, and that the results are not always accurate and time/cost effective. Experiments…

The animals kept in laboratories for experimentation go through mistreatment and incredible pain for human gain (Bishop and Nolen 92). Animal experimentation began centuries ago around the 1700’s in ancient Rome where many artists and scholars became curious over the human body. Technology was not as advanced as it is today so the alternatives that are present now were not present then. They believed that using the human body as an experiment was wrong and that humans have dominion over the animals. In addition, they also believed that animals were not capable of feeling any…

For decades, animal testing has been and still is one of the most controversial topics discuss in the modern world, our society is no exception. Like a never-ending story, animals have been brutally used as testing objects in scientific research purposely for humans’ usage. It can be dated back as early as 1880’s that animals including mice, pigs, rabbits, and etc. were exploited in scientific experiments. Vaccines, medicines, and cures are discovered with animal testing, but the practice of using animals in research testing is unnecessary especially with the availability of advanced technology that we have now. Animal protection organizations and animal rights groups including John Hopkins Center for Alternatives to Animal Testing have been…

According to NEAVS—an anti-vivisection society—, animals can be exposed to many brutalities such as the following: “testing new drugs to infecting with diseases, poisoning for toxicity testing, burning skin, causing brain damage, implanting electrodes into the brain, maiming, blinding, and other painful and invasive procedures” (“Harm and Suffering”). Animals have pain sensors and are able to experience just as much distress as we do, but cannot express it. Plus, companies are still able to undergo tests without the help of animal testing. Human cells and computer mechanisms can be used as replacements in place of torturing the many animals that researchers experiment on. Torture, such as what is inflicted on these animals, is unjust, yet is still…

Conflict has always been around. Whether it be a war between nations or a childlike fight between siblings, there is always conflict. One of the main reasons for conflict is an argument between two things such as a controversial topic. One main topic of discussion that has been floating around for years, touches on whether animal testing is humane. Many animal rights activists are against animal testing due to the fact that “animal experimentation wastes lives—both animal and human—and precious resources by trying to infect animals with diseases that they would never normally contract.”…

Though I concede that in some situations, animal testing may be useful, such as in immensely important medical studies, I still maintain that it is unnecessary to make an animal suffer and be discriminated against. Although some people may think that animal testing is healthy and beneficial to humans, I believe that animal testing is unethical and utterly wrong because of the unfair repulsive treatment that animals receive from scientists. This topic is important because the world we live in is as much an animal 's world as it is a human’s world and right now humans are discriminating and enslaving…
