With America choosing to throw out products tested on animals, the question people must ask themselves is, is animal testing really that bad? Arguing that rats who were born in laboratories and raised to be tested on is wrong, it makes people wonder if it really is bad. Animals are very similar to humans and resemble them outstandingly. It is something most people in the world should want to support. Testing animals with medicine helps give doctors important drugs to help cure sick people. Just because humanity loves housepets does not mean people can’t afford to use a few rats and monkeys in laboratories. Humankind needs to stop putting down animal testing because they don’t like that their mascara was tested on an animal, but appreciate its importance because without medicines tested on animals, a significant number of the human race would not be present on the earth. Scientists use animal testing as a way to cure humans who are sick with antidotes that have been proven to aid a human immune system in becoming healthier.
