Animal Testing Cruel And Inhumane

Decent Essays
Animal testing is putting animals lives at risk. Testing random chemicals on animals and and probably will kill them. Animals and humans are different from each other so the experiments probably won't have the same effect. Animal testing is horrible it’s cruel and inhumane.

First of all, testing unknown chemicals on animals could kill them. According to navs.org scientests are doing toxicity tests to estimate the safety of products and chemicals. Manufacturers and/or scientists are putting unknown drugs, chemicals, etc in animals so they can make sure their products are safe. In other words people are making animals take injections, inhaling, eating random chemicals. Scientists and manufacturers are doing whatever they have to do to make

There is a lot of researching behind this. According to procon.org the anatomic, metabolic, and celluar differences between animals and people make animals poor for humans. There are other alternitives for instance studing cell cultures in a petri dish is more effective. Also according to nevas.org there is no such thing as a “right” animal to use. Animals and humans wont always have the same reaction to the tests.

Lastly, animal testing is cruel and inhumane. There is many reasons behind this. According to Humane Society International, animals used in experiments are commonly subjected to force feeding, forced inhalation, food and water deprivation, prolonged periods of physical restraint, the infliction of burns and other wounds to study the healing process, the infliction of pain to study its effects and remedies. There are many tests that are cruel, for instance The draize eye test, LD50. Animals are being forced to do these things every day.

In conclusion, everyday animals are dying for our own needs.Manufactures/scientists are forcing these animals to inhale and eat chemicals that are very bad for you. They are suffering and going through horrible pain for no reason because there are other alternatives. Animals are suffering and they don’t even get any anesthesia or medication we all know that they are in pain and there is a way to stop this madness.According to Dr.Gerhard Zbinend once described a standard in vivo test as little more than “a ritual mass execution of animals.” Imagine if this was your

Testing on animals is also a lot more expensive and non-practical than alternative methods. (Animals In). “Some people, including some scientists object to the practice strictly on ethical and moral grounds, refuting or rejecting any scientific evidence that animal testing is helpful to humans.” (Judson 12). For most people there are two scenarios that come to mind when they hear animal testing. The first scenario is that scientist are torturing, neglecting and abusing the animals that are being tested on. The other scenario is that scientist are being ethical, take care of the animals and are creating life-saving medicines. This makes the use of animals in experiments a controversial topic; a topic that isn’t quite black and white when argued. There are different types of animal testing like, medical testing and cosmetic testing; one is more ethical than the other.…

People, especially scientists, are hurting innocent animals that did no harm to anyone. Animal testing shouldn't be allowed to happen because animals are getting hurt, they are not protected, and animals get mistreated. One reason that animal testing shouldn’t be allowed is because animals are getting hurt. For instance, the Draize eye test involves rabbits having their eyelids clipped open for as long as multiple days so that they don’t blink the product being tested away. Popular cosmetic brands like L'oreal, Lancome, Estee Lauder, and S.C. Johnson are used on animals.…

Animal testing is wrong towards animals for many reasons. If you think about animal testing like animal fighting which is similar because the animals are forced to do stuff they have no consent with. We should find more alternative ways to test stuff than putting animals through pain. In fact there are alternative ways to animal testing that we should use since it is more accurate. Once again, we should put a stop to animal…

The testing on animals is a very touchy subject. It makes people wonder whether or not its cruel to advance technology by killing innocent animals. Killing animals for testing has its benefits but it's still inhumane to do that to animals. It can destroy populations of animals if tested often and if every lab has its own supply of animals the populations will drop by extreme numbers. The animals that are tested on often get terrible treatment as the people testing on them know they will soon die.…

After studying multiple views on animal testing I have come to realize my personal view has now changed since the start of my research. Before undergoing heavy study into animal testing I believed that all types of animal testing should be stopped, but now I believe that the idea is very beneficial and should only be done when the rights of the animal are considered. In the coming years, hopefully, more regulations can be passed to ensure that all animal’s lives are protected during experimentation. Although most animals are treated with care and no pain is dealt to them when undergoing testing, it would be a lie if I stated no animals are harmed during the process. Animal testing is extremely useful in developing life-saving drugs and medicine.…
