The issue of whether we should allow animals to be used for experiments has widely been debated for several years. This is a very important topic because people need to take a stand for animal rights. Every year there is an unimaginable number of helpless animals used in experiments for human research. In Bianca Norgay’s article, “Animal Testing: Could It Ever Be Banned Completely?” she labels these animals as “the unsung heroes of modern medicine.” There are some countries, such as the Netherlands, who are trying to completely ban animal experiments for good.
