Every year in the U.S., more than 137 animals suffer in cruel and painful experiments every ten minutes. Animals and humans are so biologically similar, they are susceptible to many of the same conditions and illnesses, including heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. Chimpanzees share 99% of their DNA with humans and mice are 98% genetically similar to humans. Animals in labs live stressful, monotonous, and unnatural lives of daily deprivation. Animals are used to develop medical treatments, determine the toxicity of medications, and check the safety of products destined for human use, and other biomedical, commercial, and health care uses. Also, They are used in biomedical experimentation, cosmetic testing, and science education, such as dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, pigs, sheep, monkeys, chimpanzees, and more. Relatively, only a few animals are used in research, which is a small price to pay for advancing medical progress to save humans lives.

In short term, there will be people outraged with anger because they believe that animals should have more rights and should not be treated in such way. New cosmetics could arise that could help people enhance there beauty in a amazing way. In the long term, cures and new medicines that have saved lives could extend the lives of humans. With cosmetics being booming in society; businesses going out of business because of animal conservatives protesting against a business that tests on animals. On the other hand, there are new opportunities with cosmetic product growth. Overall the rights for animals could eventually change and be regulated even more than it
