Scientist are force feeding animals or they don’t feed the animals at all. For example (procon.org/page) it states in the text “prolonged periods of physical restraint”. This statement show that they are not feeding animals for a long period of time to test how long they can last. They are killing animals just for testing. Another examples is from (procon.org/page) it says “...animals used in experiments are commonly subjected to force feeding, forced inhalation…” This shows that scientists are force feeding animals. It also shows that they are forcing them to inhale things that can kill them. Scientists are force feeding animals or they don’t feed the animals at all just for animal testing.
Scientists are also wounding and killing animals due to animal testing. For example (procon.org/page) states “burns and other wounds to study the healing process” This …show more content…
For example in the article from (procon.org/page) it talks about all the alternatives it states “ In vitro (in glass) testing, such as studying cell cultures in a petri dish, can produce more relevant results than animal testing because human cells can be used”. This shows that people have found other ways to test products. There are many things scientists can use other than animals. The text states “Animal tests do not reliably predict results in human beings.” Testing on animals don’t always work. Animals aren’t exactly the same as humans so they most likely not to work . 94% many of drugs that pass animal tests fail in human clinical
