Animal Testing Bad

Do you know how many animals were used in animal experiments? The research found out that there are more than 26 million animals that were used in animal experiments! This number sounds scary to me. Out of this 26 million animals, 95% are rodents, and ONLY 5% were intellectual animals. The reason why they do animal testing is because they want to find cures for humans. For nearly 100 years, medicines were improved so drastically because of the animal researches and experimental results. The researches and the results are the main reason why the process of finding a cure was easier and faster. Let’s say scientists did not have these researches. Do you still think we can find the cures that we have now? Do you think there will be Tylenol for our headaches or insulin injection for diabetes? These potentials will be wasted if we didn’t use animal testing. But the real question is… Is this all worth it? Worth for the harm of the defenseless animals? Because animals should have the same rights with us, and no one would like it if people were doing any kind of experiment on you. And an article published in the esteemed Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine shows that most experiments on animals are not relevant to human health, they do not contribute meaningfully to medical advances, and many are undertaken simply out of curiosity and do not even pretend to hold promise for curing illnesses.
