In one of the darker times in the world, humans were locked up and experimented on with no say-so as to what happened in their lives. This happened during the Holocaust. This is how millions of animals feel everyday in labs all over the world; so why are these cruel methods still actively used? Alternative methods are readily available, so why do we still practice animal testing? I feel most, if not all, forms of animal testing are cruel, inaccurate, and unnecessary. Most forms, if not every form, of animal testing are cruel and inhumane. One major example of this: “Over one hundred million animals are burned, crippled, poisoned, and abused in United States labs every year” (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).
