There are several factors that aid in my ability to become a physician, one factor is my versatile major. Even though I am an animal science major, many courses that I have taken will assist me in medical school. Most students believe that the only way to be prepared for medical school is to enroll in human science classes and this is simply not true. Animal science provides an appropriate amount of knowledge that can help their students succeed in a variety of career paths. Many of my animal science courses included elements of organic chemistry, biochemistry, and anatomy.
