Animals can develop unlikely friendships in certain cases. Animal relationships is what can make animals not feel alone and make them feel like they have another one of its kind or another kind with them. Animals can be with others of its own kind or a different species for protection from predators or anything that will try to harm them.Also, some animals that are with their own kind protect each other or look after the other’s young.

The hermit crabs give sea anemones protection from starfish and other attackers.” This shows how some animals form unlikely friendships for protection.
