Did you know that thousands of animals are being illegally hunted every year? This is called poaching. People kill animals without a hunting license or out of season. About 5 thousand animals are poached every year. Many species of animals go extinct every decade because of poaching. One solution to animal poaching is by increasing the amount of wildlife officers. If you increase the amount of wildlife officers you will probably get more coverage around the state. More coverage means that officers will be able to corner poachers. Another way to stop poaching is to convince the local community to help. If the community has a poaching problem and only one officer in the local area, it would be hard for the officer to work on to poachers at
